If we have already had our first virtual double date or if you've booked your wedding with us, we're soooo excited to get started planning for your engagement session with you.
We offer engagement sessions because we truly believe that they are a VITAL part of the entire process. During your engagement session, you’ll have the chance to get to know us even more, experience how we shoot and how we handle posing and lighting. This session will make a HUGE impact on how the wedding day flows. We'll arrive on your wedding day already knowing how you two interact, what your best poses are and how to photograph you in a genuine way!

Upon booking we will send you a questionnaire to get to know your love story even deeper. We do this because we want to be able to suggest locations, ideas, and outfits for your session.
We want your session to be a reflection of your personalities and your love story, we want it to feel natural and fun, we want you to enjoy it and be in your element. After the questionnaire, we review and reach out for another virtual double date!

During our Engagement Session double date we will talk about your questionnaire and share all of our ideas for you, with you. We will guide you by showing you past engagement sessions or sharing what we feel would be a great fit for you.
The best part is that together we will define ideas or themes, location, date and time, outfits, and more! We will also give you recommendations on hair and makeup artist and anything else you might need for your session so that you can get preparing!
Then, once we have your approval, we will get to work on planning all the logistics!

Virtual Double Date, again!

In a few days you will receive a detailed confirmation email with the selected date, time, and location. In this email we will also add outfit suggestions, a props list, and a general idea of the session so that you can prepare adequately.
We leave nothing up to chance because we want you to be as prepared as possible so that once the session day comes, all you have to do is enjoy the day - think of it like a date night - with two photographers following you around!

It's session day and you know exactly where we will be, where to meet us, what to have with you, and what we will be doing, so you can rest assured that we know what you want and are fully immersed in the vision. All you have to do is smile and love on your bride or groom! Our approach to engagement photography is simple, we learn about your loves story so we can personalize your images and experience, we bring music to our sessions to allow you to enjoy and reminisce, and lastly, we laugh...we laugh a ton! Bonus, you'll get Sneak Peeks within 24 hours of your session so you can share and #humblebrag to friends, family, and ofcourse, IG!

You can expect your images to be done between 2-4 weeks, but we do our very best to get these back to you as soon as possible because we are soooo excited to share them with you, and have you share them with all your loved ones. We will invite you over once more for another double date and we will view all your beautiful images on our big screen with wine, whisky (or your fav) and appetizers! Then, we will show you your full gallery and how it works and start to build your Sign In Album and any other printed goodies! - probably our favorite part ever! We will have all the options ready for you and will have recommendations just for you! When your products arrive, we inspect them and repackage them for you and send it on it's way to your home.

There is something SO special about creating heirlooms
We're big fans of printed heirlooms and while it may have a lot to do with having albums upon albums of photos growing up, its got even more to do with security and legacy. Technology changes and is unreliable because it's all up in the air, the cloud, whatever., but printed photographs will always endure and withstand the test of time. No matter how technology changes, or what we will face in the future, we will always have the security that our story is in print and is protected, that its tangible and it's real! We can hold it, touch it, feel it, relive it, and share it. We are sure that this is the beginning of the most beautiful legacy we can leave our nietos and bisnietos and well everyone after that - because our legacy is real and the journey to our forever is a story worth printing.
Sign In Album is the perfect interactive heirlooms for your guests to share a sweet note and for you to keep on your coffee table after the wedding. This album comes in with 10 spreads and in two sizes. It features thick, layflat, matte pages that can be written on with a sharpie or pen. The Sign In Album cover will be made of a canvas material and can be a solid color of your choice or a photo designed to wrap around from the front to the back of the album.
You also have the option of enlarged prints for your reception, favors with your images and more because we love to see your images in print.

Question: what's your photography style?
Answer: Light, Airy + Vibrant
Most photographers have a particular shooting and editing style, whether it's light and airy, dramatic and heavy on lighting effects, or moody and dark, you'll be able to notice consistency in their portfolio that will indicate what the final images will be. Whichever style you love, be sure to your photographer is able to deliver the style you want and always dreamed of. If you like a light and airy style, don't book a moody photographer and vice versa. We suggest looking through the photographer's portfolio and don't sacrifice your preferred style for price!

Question: do I have to book you as my wedding photographer if i just want an engagement session?
Answer: Definately not!
We are completely open to shooting an engagement session even if we are not your wedding photographers. This is actually the perfect way to get to know a photographer even better, you'll learn their posing style, see the images they'll deliver, and much more. While we always recommend that your wedding photographer be the one to photograph your engagement session for many reasons, you can always book an engagement session first and then upgrade to a wedding package with us.

Answer: Absolutely!
Question: will you be the photographer for my session?
This may sound like a silly question, but depending on the photography company, you may not always have the owners or lead photographers photographing you session. It's important to ask this so you're not surprised on the session day with a photographer you don't know. We photograph all of our own sessions and pride ourselves in building relationships with our clients; being there for them every step of the way and communicating expectations throughout every touchpoint.

Question: how long after the session will we receive our images?
Answer: Same Day Sneak Peeks / 2 - 4 weeks
This question can vary a ton! Photographers all have their timelines and you can't rush art!, you know what I mean? We always provide our couples with 24 hour Sneak Peeks and deliver your gallery between 2-4 weeks after your session day.
However, we know just how excited you are to see them and how excited we are to share them, so we try our best to get the images to you ASAP!

Question: do you offer albums + prints?
Answer: Heck yes!
As technology advances, it seems as though many photographers opt to only provide digitals -- and many couples don't think about this until it's too late! If your photographer doesn't offer albums, it will be hard to find one that will be able to offer just the product without having been the one who took the images. Be sure to ask if they provide prints + albums; these are heirlooms you'll want to have and share for generations. We provide prints, albums, and other products to give life and make your story tangible. For engagement sessions we recommend a Sign In Album.
