Because we understand how important your relationship with your photographer is, we start off our process by getting to know each other on our first virtual double date!
After you inquire, we will send you an email and calendar link so we can set up our first meeting or what we call our first "virtual double date" During that virtual call, we share our story, our values and photography style, plus we get to learn about your story and see if we're a good fit.

Once we know we're meant to be, we'll send you the contract and payment schedule. Once those two are submitted, we're officially official! Your wedding date goes on our calendar and we will begin planning all of the fun details for your engagement shoot! You will also receive our one-of-a-kind MSP Weddings Magazine: A Guide for MSP Bride and Grooms that we've created just for our couples with 60+ pages of tips and information including what to wear, how to structure your timeline, how to prep for your big day and more!

Next is your engagement session, yay! Prior to even shooting we'll have another virtual double date to review and chose the perfect location, outfits and props. Then, on the day of the session, we will spend two hours together to shoot your engagement photos! Your only job during our session is to have fun and enjoy each other - You don't have to worry about poses, untucked shirts, loose hairs, etc. We will coach you through entire shoot and we'll even bring a little music to set the mood. During the engagement session, we will continue to get to know each other and notice things like your favorite side. Bonus, you'll learn our core poses so on your wedding day, photography will be a breeze! After your session, we invite you over to our cozy office to reveal your blog post, the images and order albums or prints, so fun!

As your wedding day approaches, we will be available to you for many things, from vendor recommendations to timeline preparation, planning suggestions and more. We love to be involved in the planning process because we can guide you on what to do to get the images you've dreamed of! A few weeks before you wedding day, we will have another double date (3rd one! woohoo!) to finalize your photography timeline, review any questions you may have, and talk fun wedding stories!

The big day is finally here!! When you wake up on your wedding day, you'll know exactly where we will be so you can rest assured that we know what you want and are fully immersed in the vision. All you have to do is relax and get married! Our goal on your wedding day is to ensure that it is as fun, easy and purposeful as possible. We will be attentive to you and your vendors so that we can capture your wedding day story. We can't promise we won't cry, but we can promise guidance, laughter, and light airy, vibrant and purposeful images that tell your story. Bonus, you'll get Sneak Peeks within 24 hours of your wedding day so you can share and #humblebrag to friends, family, and ofcourse, IG!

You can expect your images to be done between 4-8 weeks, but we do our very best to get these back to you as soon as possible because we are soooo excited to share them with you, and have you share them with all your loved ones. We will invite you over once more for our fourth, yes fourth! double date and we will view all your beautiful images on our big screen with wine, whisky (or your fav) and appetizers! Then, we will show you your full gallery and how it works and start to build your album! - probably our favorite part ever! We will have all the options ready for you and will have recommendations just for you! When your album arrives, we inspect it and repackage it for you and send it on it's way to your home.

There is something SO special about creating your first heirloom
We're big fans of printed heirlooms and while it may have a lot to do with having albums upon albums of photos growing up, its got even more to do with security and legacy. Technology changes and is unreliable because it's all up in the air, the cloud, whatever., but printed photographs will always endure and withstand the test of time. No matter how technology changes, or what we will face in the future, we will always have the security that our story is in print and is protected, that its tangible and its real! We can hold it, touch it, feel it, relive it, and share it. We are sure that this is the beginning of the most beautiful legacy we can leave our nietos and bisnietos and well everyone after that - because our legacy is real and the first day of our forever is a story worth printing.
Having digital images is wonderful but having a printed keepsake that tells a visual story of our wedding day is truly priceless! Question: what's your photography style?
Answer: Light, Airy + Vibrant
Most photographers have a particular shooting and editing style, whether it's light and airy, dramatic and heavy on lighting effects, or moody and dark, you'll be able to notice consistency in their portfolio that will indicate what the final images will be. Whichever style you love, be sure to your photographer is able to deliver the style you want and always dreamed of. If you like a light and airy style, don't book a moody photographer and vice versa. We suggest looking through the photographer's portfolio and don't sacrifice your preferred style for price! These are your FOREVER wedding images.

Question: will you be photo-graphing another session or wedding on the same day as my wedding?
Answer: Definately not!
Wedding days are long and need lots of attention. The answer to this should be no for every photographer. The last thing you want is for your photographer to be running late from another shoot. When we book a wedding, we do not book any other events, sessions, or weddings on that same day as a courtesy to our clients. Our bride and groom have our full attention for the entire day! - we wouldn't have it any other way... We like to wake up bright and early, prep our gear with plenty of time, have a yummy and filling breakfast, and head over to see our couple and their families.

Answer: Absolutely!
Question: will you be the photographer for my wedding?
This may sound like a silly question, but depending on the photography company, you may not always have the owners or lead photographers photographing you wedding. Its important to ask this so you're not surprised on the wedding day with a photographer you don't know. We photograph all of our own weddings and pride ourselves in building relationships with our clients; being there for them every step of the way and communicating expectations throughout every touchpoint.

Question: how long after the wedding will we receive our images?
Answer: Same Day Sneak Peeks / 4 - 8 weeks weeks
This question can vary a ton! Photographers all have their timelines and you can't rush art!, you know what I mean? We always provide our couples with 24 hour Sneak Peeks and deliver your gallery between 4-8 weeks after your wedding day. However, we know just how excited you are to see them and how excited we are to share them, so we try our best to get the images to you ASAP!

Question: how will you be dressed?
Answer: In Wedding-Approved Dress Code
Your photographers will be with you all day, meet your closest family members, and speak with your guests throughout the day. You'll want to make sure they fit the occasion and dress to your wedding's suggested attire. Unless any special instructions are provided, we dress as wedding guests would! On your wedding day, we are as much of a representation of you, the couple, as we are of our brand and professionalism is key.

Question: do you offer albums + prints?
Answer: Heck yes!
As technology advances, it seems as though many photographers opt to only provide digitals -- and many couples don't think about this until it's too late! If your photographer doesn't offer albums, it will be hard to find one that will be able to offer just the product without having been the one who took the images. Be sure to ask if they provide prints + albums; these are heirlooms you'll want to have and share for generations. We provide prints, albums, and other products to give life and make your story tangible. We curate each product with love, care, and passion.
