We are light and airy photographer, that means our photography style is soft without harsh or heavy contrast, warm without being overly orange, light-filled avoiding moody or heaviness, simple and curated – think clean, minimal and distraction-free images. Since we specialize in this style of photography, you can expect consistency in your images by way of our signature glowing skin, true whites, and simple backgrounds.
Although I am primarily a natural light photographer or light and airy photographer, sometimes, natural light isn’t enough, and that’s when flash photography comes into play. Using professional flash techniques, I can create a well-lit environment that mimics natural light, ensuring your photos still have that light and airy feel.
With over a decade of experience, I know how to use light to highlight your family’s best features and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
On a personal level, guidance is incredibly important to us. We hold your hand through the preparation stage of your session so that we are able to capture the images you’ve dreamed of. Together we make it happen!

Location ideas for my Miami Maternity Photography session
We offer both on location and in studio maternity shoots as well as newborn photography. When you book a full session with us, we will go through your Pinterest boards, share ideas and co-create a vision for your session and the artwork that you’ll display in your home.
The day of will be effortless and joyous because everything has been planned, we’ve double checked the weather and poured our hearts into ensuring that the only thing left to do is enjoy and build a core memory as a family.
If you’re dreaming of a natural light studio that is equal parts timeless and inviting, our all white natural light studio will be a great fit for you and your growing family. The MSP studio is located in our home about 30 minutes from Miami and is exclusively available to our clients for light and airy maternity, newborn and family sessions.
Our Miami maternity photography sessions (in studio) are typically photographed between 10am and 2pm in the studio, but we can discuss when it would be best to accommodate for your session. When you book a studio session, you’ll have access to our collection of timeless props as well as access to our collection of timeless props and a growing client closet for mamas with timeless, natural tones and flattering fabrics.

Our studio is a joy to shoot in, especially during times of the year where the weather is not cooperating, but we love outdoor sessions too. On location or outdoor sessions are typically photographed at golden hour for the softest, most beautiful glowy light. If you’re set on shooting in your home or a location outside of the studio, we will share our favorite places to go and the details as some places do have a fee to photograph there.

How do I book a Miami Maternity Photography Session?
As you explore, we want you to know every session is photographed with love, care, and purpose!
Because we are incredibly focused on client experience, we only work with a limited amount of new families per year. This ensures that we are able to give you all the attention you need and focus on just a handful of amazing families.
It all starts with an inquiry. We want you to feel like we are the perfect match for your family! Because we understand how important your relationship with your family photographer is, we start off our process by getting to know each other.
Upon inquiring, we will send you an email and calendar link to set up our first meeting. During that virtual call, we share our values and photography style, get to know you and your dream session and ultimately determine if we’re a good fit.

Then, we save the date. Once we know we’re meant to be, we’ll send you the contract and payment schedule. Once those two are submitted, your session date goes on our calendar and we will begin planning all of the fun details like whether we’ll do studio sessions or choose an outdoor location! We’ll also share a personalized inspiration guide based on your dream session, discuss location options that best fit your vision, and connect you with our favorite, vetted hair and makeup artists that are experts in a natural look.
Next, we move onto planning. If you’re worried about what to wear or what you need, how to prepare and all the things in between, don’t worry! We serve as your creative directors. We help you plan a session that will match the aesthetic of your home so that your prints & heirloom albums blend in perfectly, source outfits that are cohesive for everyone, and walk you through how to best prepare your family for an effortless & joyful experience during the session.
We have even built a client closet for mama to pick from full of beautiful, functional and flattering pieces handpicked by me for their Miami Maternity Photography Session.
On the day of the session your only job enjoy the moment – you don’t have to worry about poses, untucked shirts, loose hairs, etc. I will coach you through entire session with prompts rather than poses so that we get natural , gentle, timeless images.
If you have little ones, expect tickling, eskimo kisses, and lots of loving and laughter. My goal is always to ensure you are comfortable and soaking up the core memories you are building during the session.
After the session, you can expect your images to be done between 2-4 weeks, but we do our very best to get these back to you as soon as possible because we are soooo excited to share them with you.
When the gallery is ready, we’ll send you instructions on how to download the photographs (for your collection of choice), as well as share our recommendations for heirlooms.
When your album and prints arrive, we inspect them and repackage them for you with so much love. As a light and airy photographer who is obsessed with documenting my client’s lives well, I feel like my work is done when your photographs are displayed like art in your home or your albums and folio boxes on your coffee tables, all carefully curated for conversations and joyful storytelling.
What’s the perfect time to book a maternity session?
Planning ahead is key when it comes to securing your ideal maternity photographer. Photographers, especially professional maternity photographers, are often booked out months in advance. It’s never too early to start looking for a photographer whose style you love, even before you conceive.
However, the best time to officially book your professional photographer is between 12-18 weeks of pregnancy. This allows ample time to schedule your session for the perfect maternity window, which is typically between 26-33 weeks. During this period, your baby bump is beautifully rounded, and you’re likely to still feel comfortable and radiant.
By booking early, you ensure that your preferred professional photographer has availability, and you’ll have plenty of time to plan all the details, from outfits to locations. Don’t wait until the last minute—secure your spot now to capture these precious moments in the best light possible.

With every collection, you’ll receive my time and talent, a detailed and personalized inspiration guide for your session, access to our client closet, professional image retouching and processing and a private online gallery to view the images.
We are firm believers in the beauty and value of timeless pregnancy portraits and have collections to fit every budget. Our most affordable option include just a session fee and the option to purchase digital images later.
We also have all inclusive options that tier based on your needs and wants. While most of our collections come with digital images, we also offer the option of handcrafted heirloom albums. We love heirloom albums because they are a beautiful way to preserve your timeless images.
If you haven’t already invested in heirlooms of your own, you’re in for a treat when you get your first one in your hands. However, we’re so passionate about helping you create your heirloom collection that you can always come back at any time and order one up to a year after you session.

Who can be in my maternity photos?
Our sessions are designed to create stunning family pictures that celebrate the joy and anticipation of welcoming a new addition to your family. Typically, pregnancy photography sessions are limited to immediate family – mom, dad, and siblings. If you’d like to include other family members, such as grandparents and/or an extended family photography session, we recommend to do it once baby is born in their newborn photography session.
For example, a Miami newborn photography session at your home with grandparents holding baby would make for a perfect gift. Also, extended family pictures that include the whole family when baby is a bit older is a great gift to give on holidays because everyone loves beautiful family photos. Here’s an in-home lifestyle newborn session where grandma was included, soo sweet, what a great honor to see all the love for this baby.
How do I prepare for my Maternity Pictures?
There are 5 key components of an authentic and beautiful Miami Maternity Photography Session, including location, timing, outfits, and more! Being a light and airy photographer, these are my top recommendations:
- Time and Location: Our favorite places to shoot are outdoors in open spaces for the beautiful light, or in-home sessions in downtown areas. We recommend shooting 2 hours before sunset or just after sunrise to capture the best light. We’ll find the perfect location during our maternity session planning meeting.
- Outfits: Bring 2-3 outfits. Ladies, start with a long, flowy, floor-length dress in neutral pastel tones. Your second outfit can be more casual. Gentlemen, a blazer and layers with closed-toed shoes are perfect. We’ll discuss outfit details during our planning meeting.
- Hair, Makeup, and Grooming: Book a professional hair and makeup artist for your session to ensure you look your best. Ladies, consider this a trial run for your baby shower or gender reveal. Gentlemen, get a fresh cut and trim your facial hair.
- Personal Details: Bring personal touches to your session, like favorite cookie ingredients if you love baking. We’ll help style everything to capture your love story authentically.
- Relax and Have Fun: We’ll guide you through everything to ensure you have a great time and capture natural, reflective images of your love story.
