What Are Christmas Mini Sessions?
Our Holiday Mini Sessions are short and sweet photo experiences designed to capture your family in a timeless and elevated way. Held in our natural light studio in Miami, Florida, these minis are built around ease, connection, and joy—making them perfect for busy families who want beautiful photos without the stress of a full family photos session. If you’ve never done a Miami Christmas photoshoot, I am extra excited for you because its magical! In just 20 minutes, we’ll capture a portrait and candid images for your family Holiday cards with a beautiful Christmas Aesthetic.
This is your sign to get in the frame, and make a memory that feels joyful, cozy, and entirely FUN!
What to Expect this Year for Miami Christmas Minis:
Tradition and Nostalgia. Think: white French walls, layered textures, twinkling lights, and the best part…not one but two thoughtfully designed sets to choose from. (Yes, you read that right—we’re adding a surprise second set this year!) But we’re getting ahead of ourselves…

- A 20-minute photo session with Meivys, your Miami lifestyle photographer (and holiday hype girl)
- Up to 5 family members, although with prior notice we can accommodate more.
- Retouched digital files (images) from your session
- A private gallery delivered within 7 business days—book early in the season so you have enough time to order your holiday cards!
- Slideshow of my favorite images!
- A peaceful, styled studio experience designed with your family’s comfort and joy in mind
- Waiting area and of course – a Christmas gift!

Set Design:
While we’re still finalizing the surprise second set, here’s what we can tell you about the Christmas photo sessions this year:
The Signature Set: A beautiful, fireplace setting with nostalic and traditional vibes – green trees and old-school charm, oversized teddy bear… – all done in a light and airy way!
The Second Set: We’re dreaming up something playful, editorial, and over the top, but no Christmas Trees. You’ll want to be on the Christmas Club Newsletter list to be the first to see the reveal!
Location
We’ve offered a seasonal Miami Christmas Mini Session since 2018, but we are especially excited this year because it will be in our new natural light studio, Chillhouse Miami, perfect for our traditional set.

You don’t have to worry about looking for Christmas photoshoot locations because it’s part of the mini and you don’t have to bring props or anything! It’s all ready to go.
Dates
We’ve had 12 days of Christmas Mini Sessions in previous years, but we’ve lowered it to 6 days this year – October 25, November 8, November 29, November 30, December 7, and December 13.

What do I wear?
Every year, we create an inspiration board for our clients with different looks that match the inspiration of the set. We gather specific links from our favorite stores so you can shop online or in store – we want this to be an easy experience for our clients. I typically recommend solid colors and pretty pastels, but for Christmas tartan, matching family pajamas, or seasonal colors are a perfect way to go also as they fit the Christmas season.
